The form and evidence will be reviewed by the EBEEM exam board, the Emergency Medicine Examinations Reference Group for Europe (EMERGE), and proposed to the UEMS Section for Emergency Medicine for endorsement. Once accepted as a candidate you will receive more instructions.

If you have colleagues who are interested to become an EBEEM Examiner don’t hesitate to share the information with them!

Please note that the course places are limited to 24 candidates.

Flight and hotel for the workshop are not covered. Your expenses will be covered for future activities once you become an examiner. 

Every year one or more Refresher Courses are organised by hosting organisations for Young Emergency Medicine Doctors (<35).

Last year we had a "update in toxicology"-course in Brussels and a "Resuscitation in the ED"-course in Florence.

Have a look at the video to get an impression of the set up. It's not only a very responsible task, considering the educational value, it is also a lot of fun!

Informed consent to medical treatment is fundamental in both ethics and law. It is premised on the principle of self-determination as a fundamental human right and applies to every field of medicine. Informed consent is an important and challenging aspect of emergency medical care that ensures the protection of the right of patients to make informed decisions about proposed treatments and/or procedures. Even in emergency care situations, patients have the right to receive information about treatment options, so that they can make decisions about their care.
