EUSEM has joined the HERA Civil Society Forum
We are excited to announce that EUSEM has joined the HERA Civil Society Forum. Dr. Robert Leach will represent EUSEM as a society expert.
The Civil Society Forum (CSF) helps ensure that the HERA Advisory Forum receives regular input from, and hears the views and opinions of, civil society — acting as a contact point between HERA and stakeholders representing patients, consumers, and healthcare professionals.
The CSF monitors and provides its views on research, as well as on industrial and policy developments in the areas of health preparedness and response, with a focus on medical countermeasures (MCM). Along with the Joint Industrial Cooperation Forum (JICF), it provides the Advisory Forum with observations and assessments to support its work and contribute to informed decision-making.
To ensure interaction and efficiency within the CSF, and to better respond to the priorities of HERA and the wider health emergency landscape, the Forum operates through specialised working groups.
