EUSEM Winter Days at Secours Expo – Paris, France - 19–20 March 2026
EUSEM Winter Days 2026 – Secours Expo, Paris
EUSEM Winter Days 2026, part of Secours Expo, brings together military and civilian emergency professionals from across Europe to advance disaster and prehospital medicine and strengthen preparedness for high-risk situations. This two-day programme will explore the full continuum from battlefield to community, examining how lessons learned from military operations, extreme environments, and mass casualty events can be applied to improve everyday emergency care. Participants will engage with sessions covering prehospital care in critical or remote situations, including advanced resuscitation and trauma management, disaster and mass casualty coordination, CBRN and biological threat preparedness, and the psychological and humanitarian impact on medical personnel working in complex emergencies.
The congress also emphasizes international collaboration and shared learning, offering insights from recent crises, including the conflict in Ukraine, climate-related disasters, and other large-scale emergencies, to inform European research, training, and policy in emergency medicine. Attendees will not only gain practical knowledge and develop essential skills, but also build lasting professional networks that enhance readiness, resilience, and innovation in emergency response. By bringing together experts, policymakers, and frontline responders, Winter Days 2026 provides a unique platform to foster dialogue, share best practices, and prepare healthcare systems and emergency medicine professionals for the challenges of tomorrow.
