EM Monthly: Recommendations for Blood Sampling in the ED from a multi-professional working group

The aim of this webinar is to present the current understanding of the potential advantages associated with prehospital blood sampling.

After deciding to conduct a blood test, the process of blood sampling becomes a regularly performed procedure that requires a high degree of precision. However, the specific details of this process have received limited attention. To address this issue, representatives from EUSEM,  European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM), and European Society for Emergency Nursing (EUSEN), have formulated recommendations utilising evidence-based methodology to publish guidelines to prevent errors.
