The EUSEM-EAPCCT Toxicology webinar on "Poisonous mushroom ingestion: what should the emergent physician know" will take place on 30 April from 16:00 CEST to 17:45 CEST.

 

The programme of this webinar will cover mushroom-induced toxicity. It is aimed at presenting the clinical features and complication resulting from poisonous mushroom ingestion and their optimal treatment to emergency physicians and clinical toxicologists who want to improve their skills in management of toxicity related to poisonous mushroom ingestion.

 

The learning objectives of this webinar are:

  • To be aware of complications from poisonous mushrooms

  • To understand the clinical presentation of major mushroom poisonings

  • To know the optimal treatments including antidotes to use in amanita poisoning 

The webinar is moderated by Drs Kurt Anseeuw and Bruno Mégarbane and the following lectures will be presented:
