Mountain medicine database – an extensive database of mountain casualties which is a rich source of data for research and presentations. 

Year of training of the applicants

Equivalent to UK ST4 (year 4 of EM speciality training)  

5 years post qualification 

Specific requirements

Registration with GMC. Experience equivalent to UK EM ACCS training (ie experience of EM, anaesthetics, ICU and acute medicine)

Level of insurance provided

NHS indemnity, recommend registering with a defence union
