Welcome to the platform for the YEMD Fellowship Programme
The aim of “YEMD Fellowship Programme” is to provide a wide range of excellent training opportunities for emergency medicine trainees at hosting centers across Europe within EUSEM member countries. Criteria have been established to allow EUSEM YEMD to identify the best and most promising trainees, who are encouraged to visit recognized centers and spend sufficient time on the spot, in order to gain experience and sharpen their knowledge and skills. Different categories of “YEMD Fellowship Programme” are proposed: (1) clinical fellowship, (2) clinical research work, (3) non-clinical research work, and (4) non-clinical fellowship. Within recognized hosting centers "YEMD Fellowship Programme" is provided either short term (1 - 2 weeks) or long term (2 - 6 months). Each hosting center will determine the frequency of trainee application intake in accordance to their capacity and local policy.
Currently, 12 hosting centers within EUSEM YEMD network accepted to take part in "YEMD Fellowship Programme". Please find all information with regards to hosting centers vacancies on this platform.
Priority will be given to EUSEM YEMD members working as emergency physicians in Europe.
Financial support will depend on capacity and local policy of each EUSEM YEMD hosting center.
Trainees will be able to register for “YEMD Fellowship Programme” through MYEUSEM account. The application process will start in February 2020.
